They send you a sample program to complete as well as some questions that are based on topics not in the job description. The recruiter called me to reject me which was odd, and told me that as well as not being senior enough they wanted someone that seemed more interested in asking the interviewers the answers to the questions that weren’t answered perfectly. Someone who is “more interested in learning”. Strange to have 20-something engineers make that sort of character assessment, however I believe I dodged a bullet. Also, they have very few (less than 5% of the total) technical female employees. Talk about bias.

Interview
Zivver’s job interview process includes an initial screening call, followed by a technical or role-specific assessment. Candidates then proceed to one or more interviews with the hiring manager and team members, focusing on skills, cultural fit, and problem-solving. The final step may involve a case study or practical task.

How do you ensure code quality and scalability when working under tight deadlines?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Zivver (Amsterdam) in Sept 2024
Interview
The first stage is a 45-minute interview with a recruiter, followed by a one-hour interview with the technical manager. After that, they send a simple Angular project that you need to submit on GitHub. The final interview is a technical discussion about the home assignment. The interviewers in the last stage were very rude and inexperienced, not even mid-level something like junior! It felt like they were more interested in creating conflict than actually listening to my technical skills and expertise. It was a really bad experience... Avoid it!

Question 1
Salary expectation, previous works experiences, current situation and they also asked me that can I provide criminal record or not?
