Zocdoc Software Engineer -2 interview questions

I was interviewed for Senior software engineer. After 2 rounds they came back mentioning that the no of years of experience that I have is not enough. After which I was told to give interview for one more position i.e software engineer 2 which suits my no of years of experience. It was just a managerial interview like a chitchat session and I got a rejection mail after that. It was very weird.
