During the call, I was asked about my transition from engineering to the research domain, and while I was answering, the call ended abruptly. I attempted to reconnect but was unable to continue the conversation or receive clarification. I understand that recruiters and hiring teams manage a large volume of candidates, and unexpected situations can occur. However, a brief explanation, feedback, or follow-up communication would have made the candidate experience more professional and respectful. Overall, I would encourage clearer communication during the recruitment process to help candidates better understand their status and next steps.
