I had a disappointing experience with Zotec Partners. The first thing they did was send me an assessment through Woven without any prior communication. This was a red flag as it showed a lack of professionalism and consideration for the applicants. Additionally, this lack of communication indicated that they didn’t even check if I was a good fit for the role before sending me the assessment. I completed the assessment and received only positive feedback from Woven, indicating there was no need for improvement. A perfect score, by all means. However, despite this, I was still rejected by Zotec Partners. I was disappointed that I never had the chance to speak to anyone from the company, as they never reached out to me during the entire process, except for the automated rejection email they sent. Overall, I have serious doubts as to whether Zotec Partners is actually looking to hire a software engineer or if they’re even a real company. Their lack of communication and professionalism was extremely disappointing and left me with a negative impression. I would not recommend applying to this company if you value your time or sanity.
