The strangest interview process I have ever experienced. Initially, I had the first round of interview with the hiring manager. He really liked me and said he will pick me regardless of what other team members have to say becasue the decision is in his hands. I had 2 more rounds and one of the interviewers said he doubts my ability to fit in culturally. So the hiring manager scheduled another call to assess my ability to fit in. The call went well. After that, HR called to give me an offer. All good right? Nope. A few days later, HR calls me again saying they actually want to schedule another (4th) round of interview with somebody else so that he could assess if I would be a cultural fit (again). At this point, I was really shocked by the whole process and wrote an email to the hiring manager stating I am not interested in moving forward with this interview process and the company. He called me and convinced me to attend the 4th round of interview. So out of courtesy sake, I attended it and as I expected, HR called me later saying I am not going to be given the offer. More like the offer I was given was revoked. I have been in the industry for close to 20 years and have attended several interviews. Nowhere have I seen such a bizarre process. From what I have seen in the 4 rounds of interviews, they don't know what they want from the candidate. Even after I answered the question, they would rephrase it and ask the same question again. Each person told me something different about the job description. Overall, chaotic process and uncoordinated employees.
