The interview process started with HR, who showed up in a t-shirt and seemed completely disinterested, reading off a screen about the company with little engagement. I then met with the hiring manager and a member of the FP&A team—both interviews were mostly behavioral/technical, but there was a noticeable lack of enthusiasm and alignment about the role and company.
After that, I was ghosted for about a month, only to receive calls from HR saying they were still interested. I moved forward with the final round (an assessment with an AI stipend, which was the one organized part), but it was still poorly handled. The CFO was late, and I missed my behavioral interview with him entirely because he was “on a flight.”
I received a rejection shortly after. Overall, the process was fragmented and unprofessional. Candidates invest real time into these interviews—ghosting for weeks and showing up unprepared is not acceptable.
