Phone call interview then multiple virtual interviews back to back. Mostly “tell me about a time” questions. Everyone seemed kind. The role I interviewed for is entry level and given my years of professional experience and skills, it shocked me that I didn’t get an offer. Looking at people who have the same position there on LinkedIn, and realizing I’m even more qualified than they are stung. They never asked for references, which I’m not sure if everyone still does that. Overall, feels unfair when looked at as a whole. Would love to have heard how this decision was decided.

Interview
The interview process for a BDR at athenahealth typically includes multiple rounds, focusing on sales skills, problem-solving, and cultural fit. Expect role-play scenarios, behavioral questions, and discussions on healthcare industry knowledge.
The interview process was not a long drawn out process. It was multiple interviews with various members of the team (managers. Current team members, and trainers) overall process was fairly quick
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at athenahealth
Interview
Applied online. A week later HR reached out and set up an initial phone screen. Then proceeded to have (including the phone screen with HR) seven rounds of video interviews, two of which included a sales pitch I had to prepare on their product and give the sales pitch in my first and last interviews. This is an entry level job that pays $49K. Seven interviews is excessive. And each person asked the same set of questions, as if they were all reading from a script. This company needs to get over itself. Did not receive an offer, The process wasted three weeks of my time.
