      Softeware Developer Interview

      24 Jun 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at bimm in Jun 2025

      Interview

I had a recruiter call recently, and it was immediately clear they hadn’t reviewed my resume or application. Despite initiating the contact, they confused me with another candidate and discussed a completely unrelated role. It took nearly 10 minutes to clarify the misunderstanding, which was eventually blamed on the ATS. Unfortunately, the conversation took a turn when I was told the team wouldn’t appreciate someone “just working for money.” That comment struck me as inappropriate—fair compensation is a basic expectation for any professional. The tone of the conversation felt dismissive and unprofessional, and it didn’t reflect well on the company’s recruitment process. It’s worth remembering that interviews are two-way evaluations. Candidates are assessing the organisation just as much as they’re being assessed.
