After two interviews, I was told I’d hear back with further updates, only to be ghosted for weeks. I had to keep reaching out myself just to finally be told the position was “on pause.” A year later, I discovered they had actually gone with someone else around the same time I had applied and was being strung along. Candidates put real time, energy, and hope into these interviews. Just be honest with people instead of ghosting them and giving false info.
