      Anonymous employee
      New York, NY

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at dv01 (New York, NY) in Oct 2019

      Interview

Started off with a phone screen/behavioral interview. Had a technical call about different software and data I have experience working with and the scale to which I worked with them. Timed technical coding exercise. Finally, a series of in person interviews.

      Anonymous employee
      New York, NY
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at dv01 (New York, NY)

      Interview

Interview process was very fast. I had two preliminary phone interviews and a remote programming challenge, followed by an on-site interview. The on-site interview consisted of four or five one-on-one interviews with people who are now my immediate team members. There very little "BS" (for lack of a better word) in the process, every interaction ended up being meaningful to the hiring process.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Questions were both technical and personal, but not prying. Interviewers were looking for the ability to collaborate and to make inferences from data. You will be expected to do one or more coding challenges under time constraints, but are relatively free to approach the problems. Coding challenges involved data transformation and and are not the kind of Google-style exercises that some employers like to use (fizz/buzz, matrix math, etc.)
