E & E was the recruiting agency for a position with PHEAA. E&E had me speak with multiple recruiters during the process. It seemed like they really care. After I interviewed with PHEAA, the communications went dark. I thought everything went very well. I waited a week, then called E&E. E &E explained that PHEAA was not filling the position due to significant organizational changes. Then, I met one of the client interviewees from PHEAA. This gentleman explained that this was not the case at all - and that I just didn't get the job.
It is no dishonor to not get the job. It doesn't make me a bad person or E&E a bad recruiter. But rather than be honest, E&E decided to avoid the news - and then make something up. So, E & E gets an A for initial salesmanship and an F for honesty.
