The interview process lasted around 3–4 months and consisted of 6 rounds.
Round 1 was an Online Assessment on CodeSignal with 4 DSA-based coding questions.
Round 2 focused on coding and problem solving, including Longest Substring and Word Break II. Interviewers evaluated approach, optimization, and complexity analysis.
Round 3 covered system design basics, REST API concepts, stack/queue implementations, and time complexity discussions.
Round 4 included additional DSA questions such as Valid Parentheses and N-Queens II, along with some culture-fit discussion.
Round 5 was with the Hiring Manager and focused mainly on behavioural questions, previous experience, SRE motivation, and team fit.
Round 6 was the Bar Raiser round and was the toughest. It covered coding, system design, networking, SRE concepts, and behavioural scenarios.
The process was technically strong, but communication around timelines and feedback could have been better.
