The case: You're trying to advertise a drug, and you've got a budget. They gave you data on which advertisement methods costs, the target audience receptivity rates, the frequency of advertisement rates, etc. the question was 6 parts. Balance and select each parameter, and explain why your strategy came out this way.

Given machines that have a failure rate of 1%, what is the cluster size such that we achieve a failure rate of at least one machine per day.
How does your experience prepare you for a job like this?
Given data of the form: datetime, card#, location, type of purchase: How would you train a classifier to catch 99% of the fraud with only 20 false guessed frauds allowed to every correct guessed fraud?... Talk about this problem for a while.
