I went for the SDE 2 position with three rounds – tech stuff, an assignment, and a chat with the lead engineer.
But in the last round, the interviewers seemed kinda uninterested. They cut it short without asking many questions and eventually said no. I didn't even get a good reason why.
I reckon they should work on making the interviews better. People put in time for these interviews, and it's fair to expect some respect for that. They should be more upfront about rejections instead of leaving folks hanging. And maybe, if someone's not into doing interviews, they shouldn't be put on the panel.
