Interview
I had previously interviewed for the in person Instructor position and got the job. I had to reapply for the Online Instructor position once everything went online due to the virus. The interview was very quick over zoom. For the interview I had to introduce myself as an instructor, establish rules I would put in place for an example class, and give a short 3-5 minute lecture pretending that the interviewer was a student. We discussed my preferences in terms of which classes I wanted to teach and what I was comfortable with. They told me I'd hear back in 1-2 weeks and I heard back in 2 weeks.
My interviewer was very friendly, straight-forward, and asked about teaching experiences as well as a situational question about what you would do if a student was misbehaving. She also asked me about my proficiency in the topics I checked off I was going to teach.
Consisted of application, and then recorded mock lesson, and then online interview. The online interview was very pleasant and short. The mock lesson was on any relevant topic that you want to teach.
