I interviewed for their Python Developer (AI/ML) role Shanghai earlier this year. After a short HR screening call, I had a single interview with the hiring manager. The interview focused heavily on my past projects, particularly a RAG-related project, and involved many in-depth technical questions.
During the conversation, the hiring manager mentioned that most of the team is backend-focused and that they were working on building a RAG system. He also claimed the team was well-supported by the US team and had multiple open headcount positions.
I noticed the same role is still being advertised—the posting has now been up for nearly a year. Seeing that they are still interviewing candidates made me question whether they genuinely have many open roles or if the ongoing interviews serve another purpose.
