I would say the interview was not difficult, but not easy either. Both HR and Manager asked relevant industrial questions, mostly related to social media and moderation. There was an online test given before you could proceed to the interview. The assessment was average, if you are in the moderation and social media industry, it would be easy for you to answer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is the most difficult moderation decision that you had to make throughout your career in moderation?
It was more of a q&a. The interviewer was lovely and very informative, going over in detail the shifts, how training works, what equipment is provided, and steps moving forward.
Unfortunately, the assessment is what ruined my chances of landing the position. Admittedly, i am not good with tests. There was one before and one after. And after the second one. They rejected me.
So if you do get an interview, keep applying to jobs as the role will all be based off your assessment and not your experience.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at icuc.social (Canada Creek Ranch, MI) in Oct 2023
Interview
It was a smooth process, medium in terms of difficulty, general questions I would say, regarding past experience, content moderation, marketing, what knowledge did I have about the company, what do they do, etc.
