      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at impact.com (London, England)

      Interview

Impact.com’s Solutions Architect interview was exceptionally well-organized and respectful. The technical questions were challenging yet fair, and interviewers were genuinely engaged. Though I wasn’t selected, the experience was valuable and professionally conducted.

      Interview

Behavior oriented, really interested in company culture. Take home test given, pretty simple, but you need to follow the instructions as is, no place holders. You will interview with managers and comparative roles.

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at impact.com (New York, NY) in Aug 2018

      Interview

1st round: Recruiter Call 2nd round: Hiring Manager Call 3rd round: On-site interview and coffee/lunch break 4th round: Tech Assessment call 1st round: pretty simple and straight forward, typical "tell me about yourself" and "why you would be a good fit" for the role questions. 2nd round: this was a video conference on zoom (though the hiring manager never turned on the camera, which made it fairly awkward.) expounded more on my experience and the hiring manager spoke more on the company itself and the position. 3rd round (on-site interview): met with 4 people in total: a solutions architect, the SA director, sales, and the hiring manager. we spoke about my qualifications, sales experience, technical expertise (querying and javascript was mentioned) and hypothetical scenarios on handling client situations. met with the current team of SAs, took a coffee break and spoke more about the salary with the hiring manager. then was told about a tech assessment, which was to be completed within 2-3 days. 4th round (tech assessment call): We spoke briefly about the tech assessment itself and more on the conceptual aspect of what it was asking. **Update** Received a generic "we've decided to move on..." email from their system. I emailed the hiring manager directly to thank him for the opportunity and emailed again a week later to ask if they would consider me for a part time role. I still haven't received a response for both emails. **Overall thoughts** Please have the common courtesy to provide feedback and some respect to the candidates that apply to your company, especially if they go through the entire process (4 rounds and a tech assessment in this case.) Overall the experience was generally positive besides the end, I would say it went from 7/10 down to a 4/10.
