I first applied to UV about a year ago and had an initial interview back then. A year later, they reached out again, saying that a position had opened and that the hiring manager was very interested in meeting me.
However, during the interview, the hiring manager immediately started asking highly technical questions about photovoltaic parks, even though my background clearly shows no prior experience in that field. When I explained this, he suggested we end the interview since “it doesn’t make sense to continue.”
This was disappointing and a waste of time for everyone involved. If the hiring manager had taken two minutes to actually read my CV, he would have seen that my experience lies in other areas of energy projects, not photovoltaics. It gave the impression of poor preparation, weak communication skills, and a lack of professionalism.
