      Educator Interview

      15 Oct 2013

      Oshawa, ON
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at lululemon (Oshawa, ON) in Oct 2013

      Interview

I applied online and got an email inviting me to a group interview. This whole process took two months. They were hiring for the Christmas season which is probably why it took so long for them to get back to me. During the group interview there were 8 other applicants ranging from 17 to 50 years old. All the applicants came from varying backgrounds from yoga instructor, to teacher, to business owner. The interview took place in the middle of the mall area and we all sat on yoga mats. We started by going around the circle stating our name, two favourite ways to sweat, and our 1 year goal. We then went onto 6-7 pre-set questions: why Lululemon, what would you change about the company/store, what would other say about you, etc. The whole process took approximately 45mins and we were told that if we didn't hear back from them within the week we wouldn't be eligable to proceed to the one on one interview. I got an email the next day inviting me to a second interview this time just me, an assistant manager, and manager. Again, pre-set questions, and we just went down the list. Some of the questions: describe a situation where you had to critique someone, why lulu, describe a project (work related) in which the outcome was positive, what was a recent goal you achieved, when did you make an unexpected friend? It took about 7 minutes and in the end they asked if I had any questions for them. The second interview was today so I'm not sure if I got the position yet. *fingers crossed*! Happy Interviewing Everyone!
