      Educator Interview

      28 Sept 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Washington, DC
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at lululemon (Washington, DC) in Aug 2015

      Interview

I applied online through the lululemon website. I got e-mailed to come in for a group interview. Then contacted for a second one-on-one interview. The process took 2+ weeks. I applied online and was contacted by the Assistant Store Manager to come in for an interview. I arrived a few minutes late (I was new to the area and navigating the metro was something new to me!). Thankfully the ASM did not mind and understood. I was in a group with 3 other girls and the interview was great and the ASM made all of us feel like our answers were awesome! The ASM asked the "typical" lululemon interview questions. After, he pulled me to one side and told me that he was going to pass me along to the next manager so that I could do a one-on-one interview. The following week I met with the another ASM. This interview was EXTREMELY rushed and impersonal. The ASM basically told me that I did not fit the "style" of that particular store. She literally asked me no more than 5 questions and then rushed back into the store, the whole interview lasted less than 10 mins. I was extremely disappointed since the previous ASM seemed to think that I would have been a great fit for the store. The second ASM didn't even shake my hand when I left, in fact, she barely looked at me throughout the whole time I was talking to her. Anyway, she assured me that it was "Lululemon's policy" to respond within a week of the interview...its been two weeks and I am still waiting for a response. Very disappointing to say the least and it says a lot about her professionalism.
