      Interview

I sent an email when applying for this position, as this company apparently doesn't have an HR system in place through which applications can be submitted. That alone should have probably been a red flag. A few days passed and I was contacted by an HR person to schedule a first phone interview for the next week. That week I received an email from this person asking to postpone the interview for the next week because she was sick. The next week she postponed it again to the following week. We are now in week 4 since our first email and just hours before the scheduled interview she writes back saying that the position has already been filled. To my surprise, even 3 days after receiving her message, the position was still open on their website. The way this was all handled is utterly unprofessional and displays a sense of disdain towards candidates. The HR person was polite in every communication, but the whole delaying from one week to another (up to a month) was a cruel joke. I love their product, and I think the company is really doing a good job in their market niche. However, they should seriously work on their hiring culture and processes in this day and age considering it is a globalized industry they are operating in.
