Had to make a presentation on a TikTok campaign, then asked to explain my thinking and questions on presentation. Then followed by average interview questions - was a pleasant, calm experience, people were kind
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What would the tone of the TikTok advertisement be like
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at musicMagpie in Jan 2021
Interview
I applied online and was invited to a screening interview which felt rushed and unprofessional.
Prior to the interview they emailed me asking for my mobile number even though it was on the CV I had already sent to them. It felt like no preparation or research had been done prior to the interview as the lady that called veered from making small talk to asking very basic job related questions and back again seemingly at random, at times I could not understand her clearly as she seemed to be mumbling to herself rather than addressing me directly. I was asked why I had applied for two positions at once when I had actually applied for a different position several months prior to this interview. When describing why I had an interest in working for the company I was patronisingly asked if I knew I had applied for a customer services position.
I later received a very generic email stating that I had been unsuccessful and my request for additional feedback was ignored.

Question 1
Do you know you have applied for a customer service position?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at musicMagpie (Stockport, England) in Oct 2020
Interview
Interview process was great, I had a general and friendly chat on the phone at first and then an interview over Microsoft Teams where I showed my work. I was then set a task similar to what I would be doing in the role to test my design skills and see I could actually do the work if I was set it. Everything was really clear and the whole process was stress free and quite laid back.
