We understand that completing a take-home assignment takes time and effort, and we genuinely appreciate the work you put into it. A take-home assignment is standard industry practice when creating a thorough interviewing process, especially for roles like this, to assess specific skills such as problem-solving and strategic thinking. We are transparent about this process from the start - in the job description, initial outreach, and/or during the first call. We carefully review each submission, and as the candidate pool is highly competitive, not all candidates move forward.
Our focus is on how well the work aligns with the role’s requirements and the needs of the team, and it’s not a matter of using candidates’ ideas. We ended up filling the 2 Customer Success Specialist roles that we had open, and they are both joining our team in March 2025.
