I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at the LEGO Group (London, England) in Feb 2022
Interview
Overall a really great process - My experience included 4 rounds of interview:
1st was brief chat with HR,
2nd was 1hr with immediate hiring team chatting through experiences, what I can bring to the role and competencies,
3rd was an informal 30m chat with hiring manager to get more of a feel for the role and each other (this was extra to the usual process, but I really liked)
and the final was a panel with prepared case studies - there were 2 questions I received a few days in advance which I prepared presentation for, one was a problem to solve for LEGO and the other was talking through what I had done in my previous experience around a topic which was relevant for the role I was applying to. This interview lasted 90ms had a panel of 6 + HR representation. I was allowed 10ms per case study presentation followed by 40ms Q&A, the rest of the interview was more competency based questions at the end from the hiring manager and HR.
The whole process felt slick, and happened relatively quickly so felt I had real momentum going into it. Everyone was so welcoming, and that hasnt stopped now I'm in the door :)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Stakeholder management was a big topic, showing evidence of how I have experience of this, especially in a matrixed environement.
Digital acumen, being data-informed and innovative experiences were also discussed a lot, which is more role-specific.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at the LEGO Group in Apr 2025
Interview
First interview with HR
Second interview with Team Lead and E-commerce Lead
Third interview - present a case study (Channel strategy for a gaming campaign on Lego.com)
I really enjoyed the interviews, I thought it was enough time and understand the role and to prove my skills. The case study helped me understand the job and demands of the role better. I actually had fun completing it.
After I received the offer there were some technical difficulties with receiving my offer letter which delayed things a little.
