I applied in-person. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at the LEGO Group (Glasgow, Scotland) in Mar 2016
Interview
I saw the role advertised in the window of the store and passed a CV onto a greeter, who asked about my availability and if I had retail experience. A few days later I received a call inviting me to an interview.
As the store was quiet at the time and I arrived early, I got to chat to the store manager beforehand, though my interview was with two supervisors (who told me there would be a second interview with the store manager if I got past this stage). They were very friendly and keen to make sure I was comfortable. When I stumbled on a question and asked to come back to it, they suggested a different way to approach it if I couldn't think of an exact example ("describe a time you received bad customer service").
I ended up not getting to the second stage, but they called up the same day and offered feedback before I had to ask for it. The feedback was that my confidence levels weren't quite there (while I felt comfortable and like I had made a good impression, they had stated in the interview that personality is what they look for and I can imagine their standards are high) and that they were worried about my current part-time job impacting on my availability. The role I applied for was only a 10 hour contract, but they were seeking someone who could do a lot of overtime and be available to cover shifts with same-day notice.
Everyone there was very welcoming and relaxed, easy to talk to. Overall very friendly atmosphere. Asked around six questions, had the manager and assistant manager present for the interview too.

Before my interview they asked me to pick out a set on the shop floor that I felt represented me in some way.
I interviewed at the LEGO Group (Ridgeview, Anne Arundel, MD)
Interview
Really enjoyable interview process. The management team was great and explained the role, duties, expectations, and salary in detail. Was very impressed by their professionalism and care towards their employees
Usual interview questions then selling a set and identifying needs of mock client to try sell a set. Had online screening questions initially that were fairly easy. Received callback for interview on same day that wanted to conduct interview
