I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at thyssenkrupp in Nov 2010
Interview
Employee representative/interviewer seemed overwhelmed and overworked and very disorganized. Initial phone interview went well. One on one interview was very pedantic and "by the book" - literally - as the interviewer read from a long list of questions and wrote down every answer. Mainly behavioral interview questions. Interview lasted approximately 90 minutes (but seemed longer as it was so uninspired).
Follow-up was non-existent. Interviewer ignored thank you note and follow-up e-mail and never bothered to let the candidate know one way or the other. Very unprofessional.

Question 1
Describe a time when you had to work with someone who was difficult? How did you handle it and what was the outcome?
The interview process consisted of a three step process: phone screening, live panel interview and virtual interview. Everyone was very professional and pleasant. Overall I had a positive impression of the personnel with the exception of the front desk staff which as not very friendly or engaged.

Interview
Awful Interviewers. No interested in you personally. Do not read your CV or Application. I was in E-Mail contact with them before the interview and i could tell they didn't even look at my application.
Old Environment. ThyssenKrupp is light years behind other more modern companies regarding their HR work.
This company treats you like you like an object and not a human being.

Interview
Worked with a recruiter on this position, and the process was very fluent. Had two different interview settings; 1st one with hiring manager, and 2nd with other team members. Everyone was very pleasant.
