Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and support web-based applications in an N-tier environment. The role involves translating functional requirements into technical solutions, coding and testing applications, and ensuring system efficiency and quality throughout the development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience, strong expertise in Java/J2EE, OOP, and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP), and knowledge of database design and open standards. Additional experience with Adobe technologies and Oracle WebCenter is advantageous.

Responsibilities also include mentoring junior developers, documenting technical processes, and collaborating with project teams. Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Implement applications using JAVA/J2EE in N-Tier environment.
• Provide support to development projects throughout the project life cycle.
• Understands technical and functional design requirements.
• Assist in physical and logical database design.
• Create prototypes for client engagements.
• Designs, codes, and test technical solutions.
• Identifies system deficiencies and recommends solutions.
• Contribute to functional requirements and translate them into technical design and development projects.
• Document features, technical specifications and infrastructure requirements for self-produced technical work and job processes.
• Mentoring and guiding junior developers.
• Perform any other ad-hoc tasks given by the Project Manager/ Reporting Officer.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology.
• Proven minimum 5 years of experience as Senior Java Developer
• Responsible for web-based solutions development
• Strong knowledge and experience in HTML, CSS, DHTML, client-side JavaScript, JavaServer Pages (JSP)
• Advance knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) in Java environment.
• Knowledge of open standards (XML, LDAP etc)
• Experience with Adobe technologies, Oracle Web Centers, Adobe manager experience
• Ability to handle interruptions and multiple tasks.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Good documentation skills
