Inspector Lestrade may not have needed Holmes had he ABM to assist him. ABM United Kingdom provides software for law enforcement, intelligence, and a number of enterprise safety and security needs. Serving the UK's police forces (80% of them) and enterprise clients, such as British American Tobacco and Dixons, as well as customers in the US and Australia, ABM offers software that assists with records management, operational management, and incident trend analysis. Law enforcement agencies are its main customers, but ABM's software has found a home in large enterprises and industries ranging from retail to health care, government agencies, energy and utilities, transportation, and gambling, among others.
