ASB Financial is the holding company for American Savings Bank. Operating since 1892, the bank serves Scioto and Pike counties in southern Ohio, as well as communities across the Ohio River in northern Kentucky. From about five offices, the thrift originates a variety of loans, more than half of which are one- to four-family mortgages. Other loan products include commercial real estate, construction, business, consumer, and land loans. American Savings' deposit products include traditional checking and savings accounts, NOW and money market accounts, CDs, IRAs, and health savings accounts. The thrift also provides access to financial planning services.
