FirstPoint is happy being first to point the finger. The financial and credit services holding company offers accounts receivable management and collection services through a family of companies including FirstPoint Collection Resources, Equifax, and Checkfax, which offers check warranty, verification, and collection. Other divisions include Insight (pre-employment screening), Rentfacts (tenant screening), and Customer 1st (mystery shopping service). FirstPoint also offers association management and residential mortgage reports. The divisions previously operated independently under separate business names but were united in 2001 under the FirstPoint umbrella.
