      Description Lockley Stainless has a solid footing in the stainless steel business. The company distributes stainless steel products such as stainless steel flat-rolled coil and sheet, stainless steel billets, stainless steel bars, stainless steel wire rod in coils, and tube, pipe, and hollow bar. About half of its sales come from outside the UK (primarily in other parts of Europe and North America). Managing director Tony Lockley founded Lockley Stainless in 1972. In 2008 the company opened a flat product coil service center. However, the tough economy forced the company into administration (bankruptcy protection) in 2009.
