Refac Optical Group keeps its eye on the business of vision care. The company manages more than 700 U.S. Vision and OptiCare retail optical stores in the US and Canada. Shops carry designer and private-label frames, sunglasses, contact lenses, and accessories, as well as offer optometric services. Brands have included Armani Exchange, Calvin Klein, Revlon, and Vera Wang. In addition to its retail operations, Refac operates two surgical centers and two manufacturing laboratories. Founded in 1952, Refac Optical Group is owned by private equity firm ACON Investments.
