Description Simple Shoes wants nothing more, nothing less, than to get you into a pair of shoes that helps you improve your ecological footprint. It makes clogs, sandals, and non-performance sneakers using sustainable materials, such as bamboo, organic cotton, recycled car tires, natural latex and cork combinations, recycled PET (from plastic water bottles), and other materials. Its Green Toe brand is a culmination of those efforts. Started in 1991 with the Old School Sneaker, Simple aims to be a fashionable eco-conscious footwear firm. The company, a subsidiary and popular brand of Deckers Outdoors, sells its products through shops that specialize in comfort footwear, international distributors, and its own Web site.
