Valor Computerized Systems creates computer-aided-design (CAD) software that is used to design printed circuit boards. The company also provides software tools to link to board fabrication and assembly equipment. Valor has a joint venture with Orbotech, called Frontline PCB Solutions, for the design of bare-board circuits. Valor has partnerships with Cimmetry Systems, Cadence Design Systems, and Mentor Graphics, among many others. The company was founded in 1992. In 2010 the company was acquired by longtime partner Mentor Graphics in a cash and stock deal valued at about $50 million, net of cash acquired from Valor.
