WellPoint Systems provides software used by energy companies to manage their business. Its products -- BOLO, Energy Broker, Energy Financial Management, and IDEAS -- address various applications including asset management, oil marketing, and operations management. WellPoint utilizes Microsoft's Dynamics AX platform. Targeting customers in the global energy sector, the company has clients in more than 60 countries. WellPoint went into receivership, a Canadian form of bankruptcy, in early 2011; as part of the restructuring process, the company sold its DAXEM software product line to Eclipse Computing (Australia). P2 Energy Solutions bought WellPoint's remaining assets later that year.
