Woolf Distributing thinks there are easier ways to get building supplies than howling for them. The company maintains a fleet of delivery vehicles and sales reps serving six US states from four branch locations. It represents manufacturers of insulation and sheathing, vinyl siding, roofing, millwork, paneling, and more. From its beginnings in Libertyville, Illinois in the 1940s, Woolf has grown from 14,000 sq. ft. of warehousing space to more than 450,000 sq. ft. Julian Woolf founded the company, which sells products made by Dow, USG, Fastenmaster, Elk Crosstimbers, Armstrong Ceilings, Azek Trimboards, and Atlas Roofing.
