Pros

There are exactly zero pros for working at this sweat-shop.

Cons

James Hwang ruined the culture and stripped the entire leadership team--20+ executive level employees--within 90 days of coming on board to attempt to right this money losing sinking ship. He's a one-trick pony. Traction--without that book there is no James Hwang methodology. Doesn't care a wink about employees. Brags about being rich. Ruthless liar. Run from this place as fast as you possibly can. Don't even interview. He and his team of goons want followers, not contributing team members. You will be underpaid, unappreciated and are strictly a line item on a spreadsheet. This place is actual career hell.

Pros

- There were some really nice, helpful, hardworking people working there (unfortunately many have left due to poor management, a lack of communication, and being overworked).

Cons

- High turnover within all departments - especially with the engineers and field technicians. - Low pay for accounting industry standards, even when adding in the nominal bonus that you may or may not receive. - Vendors/Contractors were paid late with some not being paid at all. It was all too common for contractors to email and call for weeks - first, asking to be paid and then, demanding that we pay them or else. The lights were turned off at one location twice for failure to pay, which caused the whole business unit to shut down for several hours each time. The trash at the same location wasn't picked up for weeks due to failure to pay and we fielded many calls from employees, who were complaining about the overwhelming stench and wondering when we were going to do something about it. - A lot of hours were wasted in pointless meetings when a simple email would have sufficed. This wouldn't have been that big of a problem if the workload was reasonable -- but, I was constantly being asked to step away for "ad hoc" meetings when I had the workload of 2-3 full-time employees, which caused me to have to take work home regularly in order to meet month-end deadlines. - The accounting department was disjointed in every way. The accountants did not work together and often times had no idea what the other accountants were even working on. The Corporate Controller appeared unbothered by it all. It was all very strange. - A lot of the accounting that should have been automated was overly manual. Many hours were spent each day just to generate and send a handful of invoices out to clients. Instead of streamlining the process, it just became more and more convoluted. - The culture did not extend throughout the entire company. Every business unit felt like its own company with its own way of doing things.

Pros

Good Benefit There was a good staff, some are staying, most are leaving.

Cons

- Goals for the company change on the wind based on Private Equity's need to recoup on the investment made. - Senior Management needs a complete overhaul. - Experienced staff leaving regularly due to poor management. - Understaffed in every department as it helps the bottom line. - Always told to do more with less - Corporate acts with no sense of urgency - Lacks understanding of how demonstrative staff augment tech, engineers, and sales to perform more efficiently. - Unable to understand and follow industry standards. - Egos lead instead of sound business principals. - Lacks the ability to listen - Fails to use experienced staff to assist in making good decisions - Any issues raised are minimized by management and then not acted on. - Hiring process takes way to long. - Look elsewhere unless you enjoy watching a low motion train wreck.
