Unreliable Toxic Leadership: Beware

Pros

Able to work virtually full-time.

Cons

They are extremely manipulative and exhibit toxic leadership. What they say should not be believed at all. They say one thing today and do something entirely different tomorrow. For instance, they might tell you that if you have any issues, you should message them, and they will take care of it. However, when you do send a message, they won't respond. Then, they will repeat the same thing again. They are hypocritical. And on top of that, they let me go in a manner that wasn't handled with any fairness. There was no proper procedure followed, no grace period, and no opportunity given to transfer my work. They simply fired me, and a few days later, people from the team started messaging me to ask about some tasks related to the work I had done. It's a clear example of unprofessionalism, as they didn't even give me time, and on top of that, they didn't pay me for my remaining paid leaves, which amounted to around $1600, I emailed them about it and never heard back. I can go into further detail, but in short, the so-called 'leadership,' putting it in quotes because they are not true leaders but rather toxic and gaslighting experts, is primarily led by a person named Daniel who behaves like a true dictator and runs things accordingly. As for the HR person, it appears to function as a mere rubber stamp, so it's best not to expect any support or share sensitive information with them (as it can work against you no matter what you do). I would suggest working with them only if you are in a truly desperate situation and cannot find any other options. Even then, I would advise you to continue looking for other opportunities, as you never know what conspiracy they might be hatching to justify firing you.

Pros

Ability to be fully virtual.

Cons

No strategic goal setting, vision implementation, or process management from leadership or management. Expectations are shifted constantly, and leaders gaslight employees.
