Pros

- Company had great culture, people WERE kind and being 50% owned by Disney was billed as a fabulous thing! - Very decent benefits

Cons

- Horrid HR from LA with no soul and no heart - Obvious Favouritism - some departments head seem to have more sway than others - Directionless - it's survival by the day vs long term - You will never get promoted, unless you are favoured by management or you massively suck up to management - Bullies their way through layoff (Suddenly what Disney does is irrelevant because they're a separate entity) Very double standards.

Focused on brand in the age of content - out of touch.

Pros

Failure is an encouraged option.

Cons

Management lacks a basic understanding of television and isn't focused on the bottom line, or it's core audiences. Too concerned about creating their own legacies and fulfilling agendas, they have turned their back on what drives their success. There is a bunch of bad hires at very senior level and their marketing strategies are somewhat simplistic and immature. e.g. Lifetime is female skewed, therefore lets create the Fempire and alienate what other audience we have. Too much focus on Brand in the age of content.

Pros

Used to be good with the APAC MD who is a gentleman.

Cons

After the Indian lady joins the company, things have been bad. She only wants to use her own people and those who are not a threat to her. She gets rid of those who can deliver by playing politics and she did the same thing in her last company to a lot of people. She is a Monster and it is sad that the US bosses like her.
