The people i work with are fantastic, all of them.

Cons

The company how ever is awful. They make you feel like you are just a number, every time the wage increases they take another company benefit from you. You get stuck on just weekends and evenings. They're making people redundant all over so can have less staff which will put pressure on everyone else. Only offering four hour shifts so you will no longer be entitled to a break. They're running the company into the ground and the staff along with them. Should change the slogan ‘there for you’ as this couldn’t be further from the truth. It’s a shame watching the company deteriorate over the years. I’ll be surprised if blakemore will still be running in a few years to come.

Most unorganised company I've worked for, unclean working conditions, rubbish pay for the amount you're expected to do, no real recognition for hard work and effort, no chance to progress, awful management who just delegate all of their tasks, management constantly looking to blame someone and discipline when there is an issue instead of overcoming the problem, overtime & bank holidays is paid at a basic rate, low morale, however not allowed to have fun at work or you're in trouble, often unpaid correctly, the list goes on!
