Pros

Certain members of the management team are very generous and hard-working people, who try their level best to look out for the employees.

Cons

Inept top brass and management of contracts unfortunately overshadow the certain section of management that does try to execute when they can. Terrible response time and execution on HR matters of small and big import. Often the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing among management to the effect that it is confusing and creates unnecessary tensions among the employee-manager relationship. Overall, the warning to potential employees is this, if you are desperate for a job and have nowhere else to go, sign up with A3. However one or two management folks are far out shadowed by the gross ineptitude and downright unsustainable business practices this company engages in. If they can use you, they will and think nothing of tossing you aside.

We appreciate your feedback. It is unfortunate that your experience with A3 was not to your expectation. As a quickly growing company several changes have been implemented in the past year including the addition of a Human Resource Manager and regular Management team meetings.

Pros

Layoffs aren’t a thing. Steady paycheck. Very low stress environment.

Cons

Most of the work is subcontractor so you make the lowest out of everyone on the team probably. Pay is very very low with a $1000-$1500 increase to annual wage a year. If you want something fast paced, the government contracting world is not for you. You may go 1-2 years without having an assignment. This isn’t A3s fault but just keep that in mind. Job titles don’t align with what you do. They might say your gonna be a developer or a contract is in the process… for new grads trying to be developers steer clear there’s no internal development for the government. (Don’t listen to anyone who tells you otherwise they are trying to make money off of you). HR looks out for the company not you, which is why a lot of people realize this when they start the job and then leave. The turnover rate is extremely high. Lockheed and those big contractors do the software engineering. If you just need a job it’ll be steady enough for you to get paid something at least until you find something better.

Pros

Competent management, friendly work environment, but above all, you get out what you put in. If you want to coast, you can. If you want to hone your professional and personal skills, network, learn, etc. you can as well.

Cons

Like all contract work, catering to client desires can be tiresome. Unrealistic requests, repetitive metrics that aren't truly understood and used in decision making, questionable leadership from time to time.
