Pros

The pay is great for being able to work from home and they paid for the training time. The training and management staff have always been helpful. They have always been quick to answer questions and fix problems. The material is all provided and is quite straightforward. I had to cancel classes one day due to an Internet issue and they were pretty understanding about the situation.

Cons

There aren't many things to complain about. It would be nice to get more feedback from parents and students but that's not the end of the world.

Pros

Very flexible. Booking time off is easy as long as it's no excessive. Most of the student's are lovely. Fellow tutors are very encouraging and supportive of each other.

Cons

When I write reviews, I try to be as balanced and as positive as possible, but I feel I have to give details to the flaws of this company as it is not OK. If you encounter a problem, then management does nothing to help you. For example; If a pupil leaves a negative review for something that completely wasn't your fault and you have more than enough proof, then tough luck you're stuck with it. In order to achieve all of the incentives, you need to beg students for positive reviews, which doesn't seem right and doesn't really reflect how well you do. Why don't you measure the amount of return students? If there is a problem with a student, management literally does nothing. This is fine if it went both ways and you just had to put up with the disruptive lesson. However, if the student then complains about you, then suddenly something needs to be done and it's held against you when trying to get pay progression. Pay is no where near what is advertised.

Pros

Ok way to earn side money

Cons

Pay is not great. P90-150 per BOOKED hour. If you schedule 6 hours of work yet were only booked 2 hours, you'll only be paid for those hours. You waste 4 hours of your time waiting for nothing Students can book a lesson up to 5 minutes before it's supposed to start, leaving little time for the tutor to properly plan a good lesson. Students can give tutors a bad review for bad internet connection, even if the tutor is completely innocent and the bad connection is on the student's side You have to wait until all of your shifts are over before "calling it a day" because students can book minutes before the lesson is supposed to start. If you have 14 slots and only slots 5-10 are booked, you have to be at your computer for slots 1-4 and you have to be around and wait until slots 11-14 are done. Too many changes in regards to work flow, policies, etc. As if the company does not have a solid foundation They say you only have to work a minimum number of hours a day but the team coaches will constantly guilt you in to adding more slots "To meet quota". Very unprofessional!
