Meaningful work but declining culture

Recommend
CEO approval
Business outlook

Pros

Some of the best work there is for those passionate about competition and consumer law, product safety or infrastructure regulation - cutting edge cases and investigations

Cons

Culture has declined over time under new executive leadership, very white and male dominated culture at the top, with so many unconscious biases. 'Merit' is used to justify every promotion, yet it is incredibly nepotistic, favourites get promoted (which are disproportionately overconfident white males). Left because of the decline in culture and the harsh stance taken on flexible working, which has moved to worse than pre-covid days.
