      Pros

      AGY pays well, great benefits and the management are great. The group leads are nice..they take time with you during training and won't let you go until you get it.

      Cons

      After awhile lifting from a bigger truck can take a toll of your back. You are expected to produce one hundred percent within a certain time frame. Everyone can not move as fast...

      Pros

      The paychecks haven't bounced...yet. The ceiling doesn't leak everywhere. You can enjoy being dumped on by management. They have a lovely Human Rescource department that you can not visit during your scheduled shift hours. They really like lazy, so if you don't want to do anything and get a free ride, this is definitely the job for you. Management will target and harass the employees who do work as to maintain the workload so they don't have to deal with the employees who don't want to do any work. In addition if you do a sorry job or screw up enough, then they will just ask you to do less and less and put that workload on some idiot who will do it.

      Cons

      No chain of command. You are completely replaceable, and you will quickly learn that. You will be required to carry other employees who don't pull their own weight. You will be threatened with your job if you try to bring this subject up. Can't question decisions on anything and your input is not welcome. If you have a problem there will not be anyone who is going to help you. Not to answer questions regarding anything. Not even what you are supposed to be working on. Communication with the employees will be by rumors only, nobody can and or will tell you anything to keep you informed. Supervisors aren't even kept informed, well maybe misinformed, causing you more problems.

      Pros

      The pay was good for a job that didn't require skill. On site fitness center.

      Cons

      They will fire you weeks out of training for not getting full production even if you are improving. I wasn't willing to do what I saw other FSR's doing to get production. Skipping breaks, coming in early to start and staying late to finish(off the clock). Had to hunt down the materials needed to do the job, which kills your production.
