Pros

Earning a paycheck every 2 weeks

Cons

No one is held accountable for their actions. Instead of appropriately managing problem employees, they make excuses for them, move them to a different department (usually to work with someone they have a personal relationship with), and then promote them. HR doesn't care about the people; they are clueless and don't even pretend to want to keep people informed or prioritize them. The lack of diversity is astounding and they don't care to improve that. They also don't try to hide their racism. There is a clear difference in how they treat their white employees vs. their black employees. Promotions happen quickly for underqualified employees often. There is no recognition for doing well or going above and beyond in your job if you're in leadership - unless you are white and one of their favorites. Every year, they claim the rating of Great Place to Work but never share the survey results to prove it.

Managers dont listen to senior engineers, they want to micromanage engineers, they get managers that dont have a clue "up to speed" so they can micromanage the engineer that has EONS for experience, lots of nepotism going on, they block you every time you need something changed or modified to accomplish what the manager wants. They have "willing to accept change" on the performance review form but are unwilling to accept change themselves even when its to accomplish a goal that will make things better. Unrealistic deadlines due to incompetent management. Impossible to get work done since they refuse to change anything. They place managers above you who dont have anywhere near the experience you have. They are brilliant at car insurance but not so much with everything else. They intentionally call EVERYONE an analyst and not engineer so they can justify micromanaging everyone..
