Upper management in both San Diego and the VB headquarters ignore the blatant bullying and unethical behavior (open secret in the office) that has been going on for years. I was physically threatened by another employee and filed a formal complaint with HR. I supplied photos and witness statements, but I still had to follow up with them over a month later to get a status report. He was never removed from the office and I was told by HR that the employee claimed I was rude to him and that I should just "avoid him". The next time I reported being bullied and harassed (again, it's rampant), I never heard back from HR. Never. There is a very strong bullying and harassment culture that has been allowed to thrive due to lack of negative consequences or investigation. Not sure which, but it's a very stressful place to work.
