Pros

1. Light work, hardly any pressure. 2. Small organization, so easier to network 3. Located close to UTS and Broadway, walking distance to CBD peripherals 4. Compensation commensurate with market rates, especially if you are a contractor. You could probably retire a millionaire here, as there is no dearth of funds. 5. People hang around the company for many years, for above reasons.

Cons

1. Poor decision making - no chain of command, everyone seems to be playing their own instrument without creating a song. 2. Almost NIL accountability- you do what you want, come and go as you please, cover your tracks for big mistakes... seems like everyone is taking advantage that it is a Not for Profit. 3. Lax security - whoever heard of an organization having lifts that dont need an access cards to all floors. And to top it, if you come in on weekends, the alarms bell ring even if you have a swipe card. 4. Out dated technology - they still use emails to post updates, no bulletin board concept in spite of being in the music industry. 5. Lack of ownership by management - a failed upgradation project initially planned for 1 year that went on for 5 years before the plug was finally pulled. And they had 150 people working on it, so now those many have to be fired! Talk about accountability! 6. HR almost non-existent - Unproductive people still sit on the floor. There are no performance reviews, or why so many exist for delivering nothing. 7. Overstaffed by 50% - and still people complain about work pressures. You can come in at 10am, leave by 4pm, and then complain that you are over worked. Guess you must be really naive to accept realities of the world. 8. Financial mess- nothing gets tracked. Even Finance cannot give a break down on project and operational spends. As a Not for Profit, you need to have greater financial control for shareholders benefit. 9. Poor Delivery. They put 150 people on the job and still could not deliver - not because the vendor could not deliver, but because there is no proper vision. Even getting a Program structure in place wont help- you need right honest people, not people who just join for personal monetary gains to fleece hard earning musicians, writers and publishers 10. Siloed culture - too much power in the hand of a few SMEs, who pretend they know everything about Music and International music. The good SMEs don't speak up and the bad SMEs just create noise, not music. 11. Limited career opportunities- you get stuck, since everyone is here on a contract for years. Could go on an on.... an ideal case for a commission inquiry
