Thank you. We try to treat people as individuals, trust them to get on with their work, and support each other as a team — so I’m pleased that came through in your experience. It’s what we’re working hard to build every day. Thanks again for taking the time to share this.

Pros

Good pay Working from home

Cons

Micromanagement Very little support Blame culture The system is difficult to use, before joining I was told how amazing their system is but was highly disappointed, it is not intuitive at all and makes the job harder than it needs to be The automation on the system has gone too far, nonsensical letters go automatically to clients The wording of the system generated letters is 99% waffle Conveyancers are actively discouraged from doing any actual conveyancing, not even allowed a Land Reg log in Additional fees for everything, I seemed to spend the majority of my time explaining the extra fees/contents of letters to clients rather than doing anything that could be recognised as conveyancing Long rambling emails received from senior partners in the early hours of the morning that you are expected to reply to with “great learnings, thank you!” or a summary of what you’ve ‘learnt’ from the email

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your experience at AVRillo did not meet your expectations. We take all feedback seriously, because we invest heavily in recruiting, training and supporting high-calibre people, and in building a modern, compliant workplace in an industry undergoing significant reform. AVRillo is intentionally different from a traditional conveyancing firm. Over many years, we have invested substantial resources into developing insurer-approved, regulator-aligned systems designed to meet the standards encouraged by the CLC, SRA and wider professional bodies. Our model is structured, technology-led and built around compliance, consistency and improved client outcomes. This includes automated client communications and centralised workflows that reduce risk and remove repetitive manual tasks. For example, our conveyancers are not required to manually log into the Land Registry to order title documents and associated records. Those administrative processes are automated within our system so that lawyers are not spending valuable time on repetitive ordering tasks. The purpose is to reduce avoidable admin, protect lawyer time, support healthier workload management and allow professionals to focus on legal judgement, title analysis and client care. This structured approach is one of the reasons we consistently achieve completion rates significantly above the industry average and are recognised for innovation and client service. For those joining from more traditional environments, our model can feel unfamiliar at first. However, the framework exists to protect clients, reduce errors and ensure clarity around accountability. We do not operate a blame culture — we operate a culture of high standards, transparency and continuous improvement, because the consequences of mistakes in conveyancing are serious. In relation to fees, we are fully transparent with clients. Additional charges only apply where additional work is genuinely required or optional services are selected — which is standard practice across the legal sector. We are pleased you valued the flexibility and remuneration offered. We also recognise that our structured, technology-led model — built in alignment with the modernisation encouraged by regulators and professional bodies — will not suit every conveyancer, and we respect that different professionals thrive in different environments. We wish you well in your future role. Angelo Piccirillo Joint CEO AVRillo Conveyancing
