Pros
extremely interesting work space; get to be at the interface between economic life and administration/politics. General education level is high. AWEX is there to promote business success against a general regional apprehension to same, a real challenge. Although the aim seams far from personal impact, Personnal input into relations with businesses makes a difference and provides rewards for job well done.
Cons
Although it is a SME like activity with less than 500 employees, the boat difficult to steer as it is an administration with politically appointed upper management. So career progression is slow.
